Company Town

Whine and Bitch,
sitting uncomfortably close,
exchange Innuendo via
Eyes

Tracking the nascent
Bud of Spring's Daughter
Hope, careless unfurling,
Caught

In the Net of Sisters
Mediocrity and Banality,
Daughters of Fear,
Stab

Behind the Veneer
of vapid Propriety,
Negligence and a long leash
Hung

Taught in the Hall
of One-Way
Mirrors don't speak
Truth

To Power

Thicker than Water

The slow sound like kissing,
the fast like sex,
you pay to keep them
quiet

Faucet
to my heart, dripping
onto this unread
rag stained black

with patterns of
symbols keep time
with the rhythm of
drips.

Human Fraternity as Canopy

It is your turn to
make a choice.
Cling to the tree,
make the canopy.
Decay.
Build the floor.

Tower of life,
past generation's
detritus reaches
toward the sun.
Steadily.
Getting closer.

There are holes of
light, energy lost,
mark of the incomplete,
but the goal burns, as Sol.
Dream.
Build the floor.
